Departments bid farewell

A farewell programme was organised by the department of Soil & Water Conservation (S&CW) for its retiring registrar, Neizokhono Konyak and superintendent, Litseno Lotha on November 30 at the Directorate’s Conference Hall, Kohima.
A press release by the department informed that the retiring officers, in their speeches, expressed gratitude to the department for the co-operation and various life skills acquired while working with fellow colleagues. The outgoing registrar also encouraged the staffs to continue uplifting the department and reach the unreached particularly the farmers and the public.
In his speech, additional director, Chubaonen thanked the two retiring officers for their integrity and sincerity throughout their service. In a separate programme, the Rural Development (RD) department also organised a farewell programme for its outgoing staffs namely Vikhoho Vitso (typist Sr), drivers – Imkumzukba and Avishe, peons – Zheyito and Nixeshe Sema.
