Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has informed all trade license holders under its jurisdiction that the government financial year accounting system i.e 1st April to 31st March will be followed for fresh and renewal of trade license instead of the present accounting system of annual calendar year.
In this connection, DMC administrator, W. Manpai Phon informed that the fees/tax for the remaining period of the current financial year, .i.e. 1st January to 31st March, 2023, an additional charge of three months will be charged at the time of renewal of trade license and sanitary tax for the next financial year 2023-2024.
The renewal of trade license will commence from December 12 during working hours.
