VGs of Shiponger Village celebrate 50 years

Village Guards (VGs) of Shiponger Village observed its 50 years anniversary on December 8 with advisor, I&PR, S Keoshu, as special guest.
According to a DIPR report, Keoshu in his speech thanked all Village Guards for their selfless sacrifices and services towards village despite their minimum wages.
He said that VGs play important role in protecting village and maintaining law and orders within its jurisdiction. He later unveiled the 50 years anniversary monolith.
