Night Carnival ‘season 10’ commences in Dimapur

Dimapur Night Carnival “Season 10” organized by Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) and East Dimapur Business Association (EDBA), in collaboration with Dimapur District Administration commenced at Naga Shopping Arcade, Super Market here on Tuesday.
Advisor of Power, H Tovihoto Ayemi while inaugurating the carnival, said that opportunities and platform should be provided to young Naga entrepreneurs and Artistes to showcase their talents and works in carnivals, and not only focus on commercial aspects.
He said this while addressing a gathering at the commencement programme of five-day night carnival.
Ayemi said that such carnivals should be used as a platform to allow Naga entrepreneurs to promote their productsand artistes to showcase their talents.
He later congratulated the organisers for successfully and consistently organising the event for the past ten years and encouraged them to continue to organise such events.
Earlier, the progremme was hosted by Imsumanen and invocation by pastor, Sumi Baptist Church Naga United Village, KhehoyiAssumi. The welcome speech delivered by administrator, DMC, W ManpaiPhom. Highlights of the event included special presentations by TitiGonmei, NikihoKahoto, TemsumongbaOzukum, etc.
The carnival will showcase a variety of stalls including gaming, entertainment, ethnic and other cuisines will be set up to cater to all age groups and families and would culminate on December 17.
