Advisor of Food & Civil Supplies, LM&CP and Taxes, Pukhayi Sumi on December 17 inaugurated the Khukishe Village Council Hall, which was dedicated by Rev. Khutovi Swu.
A press release by Khukishe Village GB stated that Pukhayi congratulated the village council chairman, GBs, villagers and all concerned people for their tireless efforts towards the successful completion of the council hall.
He also appealed the people to continue to extend cooperation for further such development, for peace and harmony within the community. At the programme, short speeches were delivered by Khukishe village head GB, Hokishe Yepthomi and GB, Vihuto Yepthomi, who stated that the long awaited dreams of the village people was achieved and expressed hope that mutual understanding, support and blessings would continue to prevail.
The inaugural programme chaired by Viyikhu Yepthomi began with singing of village anthem by the children; welcome address was delivered by Ahovi Zhimomi; invocation by women pastor Tonoli; vote of thanks by village council chairman, Heshito Yepthomi and benediction by youth pastor, Libo. The Advisor was accompanied by Extra Assistant Commissioner) EAC) Aghunato, Block Development Officer (BDO) Tokiye block and Aghunato areas GBs and elders.
