Awareness on CMMFI in Longleng

Longleng district administration organized a workshop/awareness programme on the Chief Minister’s Micro Finance Initiative (CMMFI) at VDB Hall, Longleng on December 19 with ward presidents of Longleng Town, members of village councils under Longleng district along with the intending beneficiaries.
According to DIPR report, briefing the gathering during the workshop, the Extra Assistant Commissioner HQ, Longleng, Dr. Samuel Akho Konyak informed that the programme aimed to help and guide local entrepreneurs as to how the schemes could be availed. He stated that the workshop was organized to sensitize the public and entrepreneurs. The resource persons included the Agriculture Officer, Agriculture Inspector, Veterinary Surgeon and officials of Fisheries, NSRLM and SBI Bank Longleng.
