Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO) delegation is likely to hold another round of meeting in Delhi during the first week of January 2023.
As reported, the ENPO team led by its president Tsapikiu Sangtam had recently met Home ministry officials led by advisor (NE) AK Mishra in Delhi on December 23 with regard to the demand for ‘Frontier Nagaland’ Statehood.
The ENPO leaders were once again invited by the Central officials to hold another round of meeting in Delhi during the first week of January and review the discussions held in Tuensang, before submitting the report, sources said. The Central team would be submitting its report to the Home ministry after which Union Home minister Amit Shah is expected to visit Eastern Nagaland in January 2023.
