Naga youth dies by suicide in Chennai

A 22- year-old Naga youth reportedly committed suicide inside his rented apartment in Chennai, Tamil Nadu on December 26. According to sources, the youth identified as one Royem, an employee of a restaurant at Pheonix Shopping Mall, Chennai, was found hanging inside the room by his friends on December 26 afternoon.
Since Royem was inside the room and did not respond to his friends, they broke the door open and found him hanging, sources added. The friends immediately alerted the Naga Church leaders in Chennai and reported the matter to J7 Police Station at Velachery. Investigation was on to ascertain the cause of death.
Sources said that the post-mortem was conducted on December 27 and the body would be flown to Dimapur on Wednesday.
