The Usütomi Students’ Union (USU) had planted around 700 tree saplings in and around the village during their two-day tour of the village from July 3 to 4.
A press note by USU president, Toino Awomi stated that the tour was undertaken on the theme, “reach out” wherein the union had also distributed stationeries to primary and middle school students at Usütomi village.
USU further extended its heartfelt appreciation to district project officer LRD Zunheboto for providing the saplings and also the Usütomi Union Dimapur and its members for the financial support and contribution extended towards the union in the distribution of study materials to the students.
