Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA) and Chakhesang Mothers’ Association (CMA) have condemned the “gruesome murder” of Khrutalu allegedly by her husband, Thejakolie Angami on December 24. In a condemnation note, NMA stated that such gruesome crime cannot be justified and was against the culture and religion. Condemning the “heinous killing in the harshest terms”, the NMA urged the law enforcing authorities to give exemplary punishment in accordance with the law of the land.
CMA: Chakhesang Mothers’ Association (CMA) vehemently condemned the “devilish act” and stated that no cause can justify such brutality and senseless killing. CMA shared grief with the tragic loss and appealed to all right thinking citizens to condemn the barbaric act. It also urged the law enforcement authorities to carry out the investigation and held those involved accountable.
