Kohima police arrested, “a habitual highway robber and a self-styled tax collector for various outfit” identified as Nawaz Khan on charged of kidnapping a truck driver near Peducha bridge on December 30. According to PRO of Kohima police, on receiving information, police activated various police teams and after thorough investigation, a special team of Kohima police led by SDPO (N) Kohima rushed to Dimapur and arrested Khan at Nepali Bosti junction, The arrested person was brought to Sechu (Zubza) police station for further legal action. In this connection, a case has been registered U/S 364(A)/384/386/392 IPC.
