Following the resignation of incumbent Director General of Police (DGP) TJ Longkumer, Nagaland Governor has allowed DG (Prisons &HG.CD & SDRF) to take the charge of DGP Nagaland. As per the notification, Rupin will hold the charge of DGP in addition to his normal duties with effect from January 7, 2023 till further orders.
