The final Regional Review Meeting (RRM) of VCCM for this quarter organized by United Nation Development Programme Nagaland was successfully hosted at Mokokchung District –IDSP conference hall, District Hospital, Mokokchung on June 28 attended by district officials and UNDP staff.
CMO, Dr. S. S. Akaba delivered the opening remarks, highlighting the importance of vaccine management, proper record keeping and encouraged the participants to educate the health workers especially in remote location. Deputy CMO Dr. Kibang shared that eVIN was one of the best planning & monitoring tool for medical department. SPO UNDP Kingson Kamkara gave presentation round with a powerful eVIN Project status and updates. The meeting consisted of powerpoint presentations by Egumsing Nsarangbe (project officer UNDP) followed by district VCCMs Achila (Mokokchung ), Taliwala (Tuensang ), Christina Rume (Longleng ) and Sosopem (Mon) to assess the status and activities of each district on a quarterly basis, followed by discussion on issues and recommendations to improve cold chain management and UIP.
