Higher education bids farewell to outgoing registrar

A farewell programme in honour of the retiring registrar of the directorate of Higher Education, Vizotso Tase was held in the conference hall Kohima on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Director of Higher Education, Kuholi Chishi termed the farewell as a time to celebrate Tase’s good life, time and service he has rendered over the years.
She described him as a wonderful guardian and a fatherly figure and stated that he was going away as somebody who has fulfilled so much.
In his speech, the outgoing registrar recalled his 35 years of service and also thanked the department for organising the programme. He also extended appreciation to staff and officers, who worked with him and gave full cooperation throughout his service. He hoped that they the trend would continue in the days to come.
President of the Ministerial Staff Association, Higher Education, Atovi described Tase as humble, who had worked with devotion and dedication for the department.
Earlier, in his welcome address, joint director Higher Education, Menuokholie Kire, who chaired the programme, congratulated the outgoing registrar. The programme began with an invocation by OSD higher education, Rokono Keyho.
