Pungro Area Village Council Association (PAVCA) has expressed dissatisfaction over the functioning of State Bank of India (SBI) Pungro owing to “acute shortage of staff” thus causing hardship and lot of inconvenience to the general public.In a press statement, PAVCA president, Y. Chipong and secretary, H. Hanso, claimed that SBI Pungro which falls under Kiphire district covering more than 52 villages has less staff leading to inconvenience to customers.
It has asked SBI to look in to the matter on priority basis and take appropriate measure and has further urged assistant general manager regional Bank office Dimapur, to deploy additional staff at SBI Pungro.
