Awareness on ANC/PNC at New Jalukie

Village health committee (VHC) New Jalukie conducted an awareness programme on Access to Antenatal Care (ANC) and Postnatal Care (PNC) under the aegis of Nagaland Health Project (NHP) on June 24 at New Jalukie village council hall. 
Resource person, staff nurse sub-centre Mhainamtsi village, Adinpui shared the importance of ANC/PNC and benefit of institutional delivery.
She said that every pregnant woman must nurture and abide the guideline of ANC and PNC. Adinpui reminded mothers that medical care at the time of pregnancy and delivery was essential for both mother and her baby.
Chairperson of the programme, Tingsangai also highlighted the importance of the programme and urged the womenfolk to have medical knowledge to be more conscious on maintaining health. 
Later, vote of thanks was delivered by VHC New Jalukie Village, chairman, Abui.
