Nagaland Public Works Department (NPWD) organised a farewell programme in honour of Er. Kahuli Sema, who retired as Engineer-in-Chief on January 24, at Conference Hall, NPWD Complex Kohima.
A press release by Media Cell, NPWD, stated that in her farewell speech, Sema thanked God for making her a part of a large department and added that she dreamt to be a part of it when she was a child. Sema also rendered her credit to almighty God whom she referred to as “the Engineer of the Engineers and the Architect of Architects”.
The release added that Chief Engineer PWD (R&B), Er. Kevide Nakro, Commissioner and Secretary, Work and Housing, Kesonyu Yhome, CE PWD (H), Er. I. Tiameren, CE PWD (NH), Er. Pukroneizo Kera, CE (Mechanical), Er. M. Moasashi, CA PWD (P&D), Ar V. Neilazo Metha and CE PEP, Er. Yanbemo Lotha, also delivered farewell and short speeches.
Earlier, the program was chaired by Additional CE PWD (R&B), Er Hukato Assumi, dedicatory prayer offered by senior Pastor SABC, Kohima, Dr. Rev G Kiyeto Sema, and vote of thanks was delivered by Additional CE PWD(R&B), Er. Hozheto Shikhu.
