Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), home department has informed that two bodies of four missing persons who were washed away in the flash flood under Meluri sub-division on May 30 have been retrieved. In its situational report of Cyclone Mora in Nagaland, NSDMA stated that the dead body of woman was retrieved at Shera village, Myanmar.
Further, the flash flood also washed away four bridges under Phonkhuri circle. As a result, Phonkhuri village has been completely cut-off, NSDMA informed. In Zunheboto district, landslide occurred in the middle of Aghunato just below an Airtel Tower posing a threat to the residents. District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) and the town committee are in contact with the Airtel Company in Guwahati to take measures for shifting of the tower, NSDMA stated, adding that further details were awaited.
