Legal awareness programme on human trafficking held at Tuli

Legal awareness programme on human trafficking was held at Tuli town hall under Mokokchung district on May 31, organized by Nagaland state commission for women in association with National Commission for Women, New Delhi.
The programme was attended by large audience including Watsü Mundang Tuli unit, Tzütikong, Layong, pastors and members of all local churches, GB associations, DBs Tuli, adhoc members of Tuli Town Committee, Anganwadi workers, students’ union of Tuli, prominent social leaders, ADC Tuli, OC Tuli and para legal volunteers Tuli, Suppliers and Contractors Union Tuli.
The state women commission stated with this programme the commission has conducted 21 programmes on the subject throughout the length and breadth of the state which began from March 21 this year. Commission stated that the public acknowledged the organizers for disseminating its importance and awareness programme about the social evil. 
It also appreciated the efforts of the commission towards raising the consciousness of all the stake holders to work in a concerted manner to eradicate this menace from the society.
