DBHSS Mon Inaugural function held

Don Bosco Higher Secondary School (DBHSS) Mon held its inaugural programme with president Konyak Union (KU), Manlip Konyak and SP Mon, Yeangba Konyak as chief guest and guest of honour respectively on May 30. 
Speaking at the programme chief guest said that the long cherished dreams of the Konyak people had finally came true by upgrading Don Bosco School to Don Bosco Higher Secondary School. He said that the school was one of the oldest schools in Mon district and has been producing good results and successful officers in various fields.
He also requested the students to work hard so that in future they could become responsible man and women. He also thanked the Don Bosco family and the concerned department for upgrading the school into higher secondary.
Rev. Nahngom konyak, pastor KBCM invoked God’s blessing. Welcome Song was presented by class 10, welcome speech was by Rev. Fr. Athili Martin while words of encouragement were given by Yeangba Konyak. Daniel Konyak also spoke on behalf of past pupils. Vote of thanks was delivered by Brother Mathew SDB.
