Condemnations continue to pour in at the unfortunate bomb blast that took place at M/S Ideal Pharmacy, Dimapur on May 29, killing one and injuring others.
GPRN/NSCN: GPRN/NSCN through its MIP has strongly condemned the bomb blast by unidentified persons which has posed grave threats to the Naga populace specially when Nagas were yearning for permanent peace. GPRN/NSCN stated that such cowardly acts are nothing less than acts of terrorism. MIP further informed all the units to hunt the culprit and be booked at the earliest as there was no room for such people in the civilised world. GPRN/NSCN has sought cooperation from all the people to ensure that peaceful atmosphere be protected. It also conveyed its deepest condolences to the bereaved family and wish speedy recovery to all those injured.
GBUD (Sadar): GBs Union Dimapur in a condemnation note by president, M. Y. Ngullie stated that, “these sort of heinous crimes cannot be tolerated since it is damaging the peaceful atmosphere in society.” It also appealed the law enforcing agency to do its best to arrest the culprits at the earliest possible time. It further expressed condolence to the bereaved family and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.
CCCTA: Chumukedima Chamber of Commerce and Trade Association (CCCTA) in a condemnation note by president, Avi Chase and general secretary, James Kin appealed the security force to seriously put their heads together and bring to book those criminals to restore back public confidence. CCCTA also conveyed condolence to the departed soul and prayed for speedy recovery of the injured. It also notified all the shops/enterprises in Chumukedima town that severe penalty would be imposed if uniform rate or MRP was not strictly maintained. All shop/enterprises were also reminded of the public resolution taken at Saturday bazaar on February 13, 2014 that there would be only “one government one tax” which would remain in effect and violators would be served penalty as resolved.
KCCI: Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) in a condemnation note stated that the blast has created a fear psychosis among the peace loving business community, who served the society but were always at the receiving end from myriads of organizations in the society. KCCI appealed to law enforcement agencies to apprehend those anti-social elements at the earliest to establish the rule of law. KCCI also expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members of Abul Basit and expressed solidarity to the proprietor Nidhu Biswas and speedy recovery to the injured.
EDSC: East Dimapur Sumi Council (EDSC) in a condemnation note by chairman EDSC, Dr. Hitoca Achumi, stated that such act of dictate through bomb blast to scare the innocent to meet their demands of profit has no place in the Naga society and should be condemned by all and exemplary penalty should be given to any individual found involved in such act of terror.
EDSC also appealed to the district administration and the law enforcing agencies to book the culprits at the earliest. EDSC also expressed sadness at the loss of an unsuspecting public and injury to innocent business persons and appealed to the state government to grant ex-gratia to the persons affected.
Rev. Gaidim Kamei: Rongmei Baptist Church (RBC) Burma camp, pastor Rev. Gaidim Kamei in a condemnation note has also condemned the dastardly act of unidentified miscreants. Stating that among the injured Iheilung Newme a member of RBC, the only bread earner of the family have been referred to Gauhati for further treatment. Rev. Gaidim pray for speedy recovery of all injured and expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family members of the deceased.
DDTYO: Dimapur District Tenyimi Youth Organisation (DDTYO) has strongly condemned the incident and conveyed its deepest condolences to the bereaved family and also appealed the state government to nap those involved at the earliest.
NSPC: The Nagaland State Pharmacy Council (NSPC) condemned the bomb blast has also asked the law enforcing agencies to swiftly nab the culprit at an early date and punish as per the law. NSPC also conveyed its heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family of the deceased speedy recovery of the injured.
NMBOA: The New Market Business Owners’ Association (NMBOA) in a condemnation note by office in-charge, Kiyegho Aye while condemning the dastardly act has also appealed the law enforcing agencies to nab the culprits at the earliest and award befitting punishment. It also conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of Abdul Basit and pray that Almighty grant them strength and solace and for his soul to rest in peace.
