DC Kma appeals general public, churches

In view of the preparation of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly election and DC Office Complex Kohima being the designated ‘Dispatch’ and ‘Receiving’ centre of polling materials and EVM machines, DC Kohima, Shanavas C has informed the general public and the churches of Kohima that around 800 polling team vehicles would arrive at DC Office Complex on February 26 and 27 and for which the area starting from Razhu Point junction via Old NST and via D Block till TCP gate would be declared as “NO PARKING ZONE” for smooth passage of vehicles carrying polling teams and security personnel. The DC informed that this measure has been necessitated due to the shifting of the location of election duty vehicles from local ground to IG Stadium and appealed to the general public, especially the churches to cooperate by complying with No Parking Zone directives on February 26 and make necessary arrangements accordingly as the Polling teams will start arriving from IG Stadium to DC Office Complex from 7 a.m. onwards.
