Common platform for candidates of 10 NA -I and 24 Angetyongpang A/Cs

A common platform programme was organised for intending candidates for 10 Northern Anagami –I A/C and 24 Angetyongpang A/C on Wednesday.
Kohima Village Council (KVC) organised the programme at DBS ground, Kohima where the candidates- Khriehu Liezietsü (NPF) and Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome (NDPP) shared their visions and various developmental activities for the constituency. Liezietsü highlighted some of his agendas such as taking care of the old, widows and needy people, students from economically weak backgrounds etc. He said some of the projects could not be completed in the previous term as the party was in the opposition. He however said despite of his limitations, he has given his best to help the people and promised to continue that his priorities on development for road, water, electricity, youth and welfare activities were executed.
For Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome his visions included empowering youth through skill development/ capacity building/establish educational and technical institutes etc. He said he will ensure that people were benefited through the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) or Chief Minister Entrepreneurship Scheme (CMES), NBOCWWB and other department schemes.
The programme was chaired by chairman KVU Hielievio Solo.
24 Angetyongpang A/C
Alempang Baptist Church, Alempang Yimden (ward authority) Alempang Watsu Unit and the Alempang Youth Association jointly organized a common platform for the intending candidates of 24 Angetyongpang A /C at Grace Garden, Alempang ward Mokokchung on Wednesday.
NDPP candidate, Tongpang Ozukum; Maongkaba Ozukum (NPP) and Er. K. Wati (Independent) attended the programme and shared their vision for the Nagas in general and in particular the constituency they represent.
At the programme, chairman of Alempang ward read out the ward resolution to be followed strictly during the election. The programme concluded with a special prayer for the indenting candidates by Rev. Dr. Temsu S, Pastor Alempang Baptist church.
