S. Maongkaba Ozukum declares his candidature

The intending NPP candidate from 24 Angetyongpang Assembly Constituency, S Maongkaba Ozukum, declared his candidature on Thursday at Yaongyimti Old & New, Phangsang and Chakpa villages.
Addressing the gathering, Maongkaba said his willingness to be the servant of the constituency and shared his vision to improve communication for development of the area economy, better educational sector, skilled development for self-sustenance of the youth, introduction of solar energy harvesting, tourism-related infrastructures, to empower women, to create Phangsang as an EAC administrative post, promote more cultural and communal harmony since the constituency comprises of the Aos and Chang tribes and to established a 24 Angetyongpang A/C office in Kohima where the grievances of the constituency people can be addressed.
Earlier, short speeches were delivered by ex-candidate, Sashimar, Ramok and hosts of supporters.
