Postal Department, North East Region-II will be organising a “Maha Mela” from February 20- 24 for awareness on Post Office saving schemes in all the Post Offices. In this connection, the Department appealed to the public to open account for various schemes which will be beneficial to them, as the Government of India has recently hiked interest rates in various Post Office schemes.
