Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu Teachers’ Association (KPTA) has vehemently condemned the alleged “insult, harassment and threat” to the faculty members of Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu (KPA) on May 18 evening, reportedly by one Hekishe Chishi (land donor).
A condemnation note by KPTA president Imnasangba Jamir and general secretary Vizekhol Rhutso, claimed that Hekishe Chishi forcibly chased out the faculty members from the Institute Multi Purpose hall claiming that hall was his “private property” and that he had an order from “Government of India and district authority (EAC)”, while the faculty members were playing badminton.
KPTA alleged that he also harassed and threatened using abusive language.
The condemnation note stated that this was not the first time where Hekishe Chishi had intruded and created disturbances inside the institute.
