NSCN (I-M) clarified that the said directive order signed by Lanuwati Jamir, CAO of Ao Region in the matter of Temjen Imna Along’s candidature in the ensuing state assembly election was issued by the CAO of his own accord.
In a statement, MIP said that there was no written order from the Ministry of Kilo Affairs and the “so-called directive order that has gone viral in the social media platforms and confusion thus created is regretted.”
