Office of the Executive Engineer, PHED Kohima Urban division has strongly condemned the “uncivilized act” by the miscreants, who unlawfully entered the restricted compound of the treatment plant at Kohima Science College, Jotsoma and assaulted PHED employees on March 5.
According to a DIPR report, the department stated that the treatment plant compound was a restricted area for unauthorised persons. The department has condemned the forceful entrance at the unauthorised premises and inflicting physical injuries to its employees.
The department further informed that the treatment plant, which supplies drinking water to Kohima Town, was maintained and operated by the PHED department.
