National Foundation for India (NFI) in collaboration with Childline Dimapur organised a one day workshop on ‘Child Rights’ the roles and responsibilities of village level child protection committee and strengthening of state SDG goals with village leaders on April 1 at Neisatuo Colony. The event was hosted by Can Youth. Alomi, Counsellor, Childline, Dimapur and Katini Eshena, District coordinator, NFI were the resource persons.
At the workshop, Alomi briefed on Childline and said 1098 was a National emergency help line service for children and actively functioning 24×7 all over India. She encouraged the parents and children to reach out through this number in case of any issues.
Katini spoke on sustainable development goals important and relevant situation based. She engaged the participants in activities in identifying the problems existing in their community and what steps should be taken by the community to bring effective solutions to those problems in achieving state SDGs vision 2030.
