ATMA Dhansiripar conducts field day at Bade Village

A field day at maize and brinjal field was conducted by the Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Dhansiripar block on April 5 at Bade Village with Assistant Technology Manager (ATM), Kaiho Achumi as the resource person.
A press release by ATMA Dhansiripar block stated that during the visit, Achumi briefed the famers about the potential of maize variety “HQPM-3” and brinjal variety “Arka Navneeth”.
Achumi appraised the farmers on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) technologies for better plant health management and sensitised them about fall army worm infestation in maize and various pest and disease problems in their fields. He also suggested bio-intensive management practices. The field visit concluded with harvesting of maize and brinjal crops. The programme was attended by 15 farmers.
