Legislators hold introductory meeting & thanksgiving programme

An introductory meeting of senior forest officials with minister, environment, forest and climate change and village guards, C.L. John was held on April 13 at Conference Hall of the office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests.
In his speech, John advised the field officers to work diligently and called upon all rank and file of the department to build a strong sense of team work, and to give their best service for taking the department to greater heights.
The minister also interacted with the department officials and encouraged them to work hard for the development of the state.
On behalf of the forest department, chief wild life warden, Nagaland, Vedpal Singh welcomed the minister and felicitated him. During the meeting a detailed presentation about the departmental structure and the activities of the department was presented by CCF (HQ), Temjenyabang, and the meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by director, Intangki National Park, Aochuba.
Naiba Konyak: The newly elected MLA from 55 Tobu Assembly Constituency, Naiba Konyak held a thanksgiving programme on April 11 at his native village, Sayu Khel Changlangshu.
Speaking on the occasion, Naiba thanked the electorates of the 55 Tobu A/C for their unflinching support and lauded the LJP office bearers and party workers for their selfless effort and untiring support.
He also called upon the people to live in peace and maintain unity for development.
During the programme, short speeches were also delivered by LJP 55 A/C unit president, women wing, youth wing, president of all the villages LJP 55 A/C Tobu and election agent, K. Nyakba. Special presentations by David Konyak, Phaiba, W. Jatom and Langphoang of LJP 55 A/C Tobu, special song from LJP party youth Tamkoang Village and Pessao Village and thanksgiving prayer by Pastor and Deacon Board Changlangshu Baptist Church.
