Around 30 houses gutted in Dimapur fire

Around 30 houses were completely gutted in a major fire that broke out at Master colony, C Khel Kuda village area here on April 15 at around 11:44 p.m.
However, no casualties were reported till the timing of filing this report.
When contacted, Dimapur Central fire station official informed Nagaland Post that three fire engines from central station and one each from west fire station and Chümoukedima fire station were pressed into action.
It took over one hour to bring the fire under control, the official said.
An investigation was on to ascertain the cause of the fire and also asses the properties damaged in the fire, the official said.
