India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that light/moderate scattered to fairly widespread rainfall with thunderstorm/lightning/gusty winds was very likely over the North East region during next five days.
In its daily bulletin, IMD stated that heavy rainfall was likely at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya during April 28-30 and over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura on April 29-30.
The Met department has also predicted that there would be no heat wave condition over most parts of India during the next five days.
