Sümi Baptist Church Diphupar in an attempt to maintain the decorum and sanctity of the church has declared its church premises as “Tobacco Free Zone” and “Mobile Silent Zone” inside the Church during services.
According to SBCD youth pastor, Mughakhi Kinto Zhimo, the declaration was made on Sunday and SBCD pastor, Nikhui Achumi offered a prayer of blessing for the initiative.
In his address to the congregation, the pastor stressed on the primary objective of the initiative as a step towards spiritual discipline wherein the primary focus during church services should be worship without distraction of any kind.
