Dimapur District Basketball Association (DDBA) has informed that the inter-college basketball tournament (men & women) slated to be held from May 8-11 has been re-scheduled to June 14-16, to be held at JV Rise Foundation Basketball Court, Signal Angami, Dimapur.
A press release issued by DDBA honorary secretary, Sentiningsang Longkumer informed that the tournament is being rescheduled after DDBA received requests by many colleges asking for postponement due to exams.
The inter college basketball tournament (men & women) is being organised by the Department of Youth Resources and Sports, Government of Nagaland, in collaboration with the Dimapur District Basketball Association (DDBA).
The tournament is open to all colleges under Nagaland University and Nagaland-based autonomous universities.
Cash prizes (men & women): Winner – Rs. 40,000; runners-up – Rs. 25,000; joint 3rd place – Rs. 10,000 each; MVP- Rs. 3,000 each.
