Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Nokchasashi graced the silver jubilee celebration of District Institute of Education and Training Tuensang (DIET) on May 8 at DIET auditorium Tuensang.
According to DIPR report, the DC in his speech, thanked and congratulated the teaching faculty and pioneers of the institution for attaining the milestone. He reminded the gathering that achieving a jubilee was not an easy task but a time of devotion and commitment to work to re-evaluate and draw a road map for the action plan for the future.
He also encouraged the students to adjust to the changing qualities of the world and envisioned the skill and knowledge which will benefit the society as a whole. Further, the DC also highlighted the New Education Policy 2020.
At the function, a keynote address was delivered by DIET vice principal, Limawabang Jamir, while special number was presented by jubilee choir and special prayer for DIET by Akhang pastor Unit Baptist Church 3rd NAP.
