A farmers-scientist interaction programme was organised by Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Longleng district in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK)
Longleng and agri and allied departments on May 9 at Auching village under Sakshi Block.
In a press release, ATMA Longleng stated that during the interaction, cases related to insect pest like fall army worms, piggery and poultry, sericulture practices, soil nitrification, soil testing and water related issues were discussed.
The resource persons were Dr. Lily Ngullie from KVK, DSCO Longleng, Peleneilhou Patrict, agri. inspector, Chingsang, sericulture extension officer, M. Doiphen Phom and supervisor A.H &Vety, Y Sommy Phom. The programme was chaired by DPD ATMA, Akam Zeliang and attended by 39 farmers of Sakshi, Auching and Yimchong Villages.
