A coordination meeting on pre-monsoon preparedness was conducted by Shamator District Disaster Management Committee (DDMC) at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shamator office, Thursday.
According to a DIPR report, chairing the programme, DC Shamator, Thuvisie Phoji briefed the members about pre-monsoon preparedness and to work as a team to handle any eventuality, more so, because government employees are fewer in number being a new district.
The DC called upon the government employees posted in the district to re-dedicate to give their best service to the people of the district. Phoji said that all the departments and employees are equally responsible to serve the people of the district so as to uplift the new district.
The meeting was attended by officials of various departments.
