Sakraba Rural Haat funded by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Agency was inaugurated at Sakraba, Phek on April 11 by General Manager NABARD, RO Dimapur, Tiakala Ao.
In her address, Tiakala emphasized the main visions of NABARD- to be the development bank of the nation for fostering rural prosperity, to promote sustainable and equitable Agriculture and Rural development through participative financial and non-financial intervention, innovations, technology, and institutional development for securing prosperity.
She also said that Rural Haat has been made disabled friendly making it accessible for wheelchair passageways, emphasizing eco-friendly and a traditional hut constructed by the village council for the weary travelers to rest with a facility of pay-and-use toilet.
