A one-day training and awareness programme on disabilities was organised by the National Institute for Empowerment of People with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD), Chennai, in collaboration with Tabitha Enabling Academy on May 6.
ADC Peren, Vekhoyi Chakhesang graced the event as special guest and A. Sactivelan and special educators of Tabitha Enabling Academy were the resource persons.
The programme was attended by 101 private and government teachers of more than 40 schools within Peren district.
