Various organisations have expressed deep shock and grief at the demise of late Dipti Kr. Barman, retired additional commissioner of Taxes and advisor of Kachari Tribal Council Nagaland (KTCN). The organisations have also conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and for the departed soul to rest in peace.
KTCN: Kachari Tribal Council, Nagaland (KTCN) in a condolence message by press secretary, Dharma Dhaj Sonowal stated that the Kacharis of Nagaland has lost an active and humble social leader, creating a vacuum which would be difficult to fill. It described late Dipti as an intellectual and one who had always worked for the cause of the people. It expressed that his dedication towards the society would always be cherished and remembered.
MKPO: Mech Kachari Public Organization of Nagaland (MKPO) in a condolence message described late Dipti as a leader who had always selflessly spent his life for the cause of the Kacharis. Late Dipti had always emphasized on unity and his demise was a great loss while his contributions towards the society would be always remembered, stated MKPO.
DPON: Dimasa Public Organization Nagaland (DPON) in a condolence message by publicity secretary, Amon Difoe stated that late Dipti was a pioneering social worker of the Dimasas as well as the Kacharis in general. DPON stated that his demise was a great loss for the community.
