Two-day, Lotha Baptist Church Diphupar (LBCD) golden jubilee celebration culminated on Sunday. The celebration was held under the theme “Celebrating 50 years of God’s faithfulness”.
Delivering message, Lotha Baptist Church Dimapur, pastor Rev. Zanao Mozhui spoke about the beautiful creation of God with His faithfulness. He also cited example from the books of Exodus and I Corinthians how great God faithfulness was and His sacrifice for the sin was portrayed. He called upon the congregation to be thankful, exalt and glorify His faithfulness, as they celebrate 50 years.
Earlier, the invocation prayer was offered by LBC Diphuapr ‘B’ pastor Wonjanthung Lotha, jubilee offertory by Rev. RY Ovung and greeting message was delivered by Arithung Kikon, village blessing prayer was offered by Rev. RP Murry.
Special number was presented by Jubilee Khenden and LBC Dimapur choir, scripture was read out by Senjum Baptist church pastor Roland T Ngullie and benediction by Golden Crown Theological College director Rev. Nzan Odyuo which was followed by jubilee feast.
Meanwhile, at the consecration session held at the evening, message was delivered by Missionary One Challenge International India, ministry Rev. J Thungjamo Lotha as speaker. He spoke on how the people as believer believe in the word of God. He encouraged everyone to follow the word of the Lord and confess their sin as they celebrate golden jubilee.
At the evening session, invocation was offered by LBC Seithekibasa pastor Dr Yilobemo Humtsoe, offertory by LBC Chumukedima pastor Thungchio Lotha and special number presented by jubilee Khenden, Yanpo Yanpia eyui I/C Gladys Chishi and Melody Changsang, prayer for the in-law’s was proposed by Rev. M Woben Lotha and scripture was read out by LBC Medziphema pastor Pichamo Yanthan.
Vote of thanks was delivered by associate pastor Yimtsu Yanthan.
