The 283rd meeting of Nagaland State Co-operative Bank (NStCB) Ltd was held on April 28 in the office board room under the chairmanship of additional chief secretary and finance commissioner and chairman NStCB Temjen Toy.
At the meeting the board lauded the bank for earning a record profit of Rs. 837.15 lakh during 2016-17, a significant achievement in the history of the Bank. Developmental Action Plan (DAP) of the bank for 2017-18 was reviewed and approved and set a profit target of Rs 1600 lakh.
The board also reviewed the financial parameters, CD ration, issue and recovery of loans and advances, NPAs, implementation of Central government/NABARD and state government sponsored schemes. Implementation of latest information technology in the bank and functioning of existing 11 ATMs were also reviewed and resolved to install another 10 ATMs by December, 2017.
To review the DAP 2017-18 and in order to achieve the projection the board resolved to convene frequent meeting of the board with branch officials.
The meeting was attended vice chairman Kekhwengulo Lea, secretary co-operation Lithrongla G. Chishi, registrar co-operative societies Wepe Ritse, Gm (OIC) NABARD, RO Ashoke Chakraborty, managing director, NStCB Imtilembe Longkumer, elected board of directors from all the districts and professional directors.
The board also bade farewell to Ashoke Chakraborty who is being transferred to Kolkata and lauded his contribution to the bank.
