BBC Wka holds swachh bharat abhiyan programme

National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Bailey Baptist College (BBC), Wokha, in collaboration with Vungoju colony, Wokha town, organised a one-day mass social work on April 29 under the theme, “cleanliness is next to Godliness” in consonance with national Swachh Bharat Abhiyan programme. 
A press note by BBC principal stated that the main task undertaken during the social work was the repairing and filling up of the unattended approach road to the college from Dr. Motsuo Memorial District hospital, Wokha. 
The cleanliness drive of the college campus and repair of the college approach road was launched by Dr. K.C Murry, principal, Bailey Baptist College, Wokha. He stated that Swatchh Bharat programme would be a regular feature of the college. He further lauded the enthusiasm of the colony residents, NSS volunteers, staff of the college and the students for the success of the social work. 
The social was organised under the initiative and active supervision of asst. professor and programme officer NSS, Leonard Mozhui. It may be mentioned that, the road was a life line to the horticulture sector of Vongoju community and an important approach road to the farm sites of department of agriculture, department of horticulture, the new campus of DIET and St. Peter School.   
BBC also extended special acknowledgement to chairman and citizens of Vungoju colony, Rukhomo Kikon, Pankathung Ezung, Chipenthung Ezung, Yanpvutsson Kikon, Hajamo Odyuo (SBI), Mhonyamo Yanthan, Nyimthungo Yanthan and all well wishers.
