Book titled ‘Modi walking on elusive Naga peace’ released

A book titled “ Modi walking on elusive Naga peace” written by journalist Oken Jeet Sandham was released on April 28 by minister for social security and welfare, Kiyaneilie Peseyie, at Hotel Japfü Kohima.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Peseyie lauded the author for writing the book which was relevant with the present situation of the ongoing Indo-Naga peace talk. He said the book would give an insight to the people especially the Nagas and become a treasure for the generations to come.
On Naga Peace Talk, Peseyie said the government of India need to analyse and understand the history of the Naga political movement from the initial stage to the various sequence of development taking place which led to the ceasefire agreement and thereafter.
The minister also briefed the gathering about formation of joint legislators’ forum to facilitate for the early solution to the protracted Naga political issue. 
The author of the book encouraged other journalist to also write books. He also acknowledged all those who encouraged and guided him in writing the book.
The programme was chaired journalist Vishü Rita Krocha, Anenla Jamir gave a brief address, special song was presented by Dziesekhrienuo Jesse, pastor Melhite Kenye invoked God’s blessing. The newly released book would be available for Rs. 600 at Western book depot Kohima , Modern book Depot Dimapur and also online at www.Ilandlo.com
