Pharmacies in Phek asked to install CCTVs

As per the directive of the District Level Committee Narcotic Coordination (NCORD) Phek district, all the pharmacies/medical stores under Phek district have been asked to compulsorily install CCTV on or before June 2.
The notification regarding this was informed at the sensitisation and awareness programme for pharmacies in Phek district. The programme was organised by the Drug Control Cell (DCC) under Chief Medical Officer Office (CMO) Phek at the Conference Hall of CMO Phek office on June 2.
A press release by the department informed that while delivering a keynote address, DPO RCH/UIP Phek, Dr.Pewezo Khalo urged the pharmacies to adhere the government notification and not violate the Acts and Rules.
Drugs Control Officer, Phek, K.Limasenla Longchar highlighted various categories of drugs with special emphasis on schedule H, H1 and X drugs and the maintenance of records and registers as required under Drugs and Cosmetic Acts 1940 and Rules 1945.
The pharmacies were directed to strictly comply on the Notification on the restricted drugs issued by department of Health and Family Welfare.
