1 killed in hit-and-run case

A non-Naga suspected to be a beggar died after he was hit by an Alto (AS12J2489) at 2 ½ mile Dimapur on Sunday.
In a press release, Dy. Commissioner of Police (Crime)/ PRO, said that the injured pedestrian was immediately taken to Olive Hospital for medical treatment but doctor declared brought dead. The deceased was wearing black track pant, a mole on the front right shoulder and a mole on the upper left eyelid.
On completion of all legal formalities the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur morgue for PM examination/identification, PRO said. Claimant/ relatives/ friends of the deceased have been requested to contact the Officer-in-Charge, Traffic Control, Dimapur. (7085055028)
