Yimkhiung Liberü Arihako Shamator Area (YLASA) has affirmed its support to the Shamator Town Public Forum (STPF)’s one-month ultimatum served on the health & family welfare (H&FW) department demanding the deployment of adequate manpower and medical facilities at community health centre (CHC) Shamator.
In a press release, YLASA vice president Tsushila and general secretary Kiulola expressed dismay that CHC Shamator had been neglected and demanded immediate redressal of the grievances faced by public.
Accusing the department of showing “lackadaisical attitude”, the YLASA stated that the only CHC in the entire Shamator area had been neglected considerably. It said that required number of manpower and medical facilities have not been deployed.
In the light of the above, YLASA has urged the department to listen to the cry of poor patients of Shamator district and fulfil the urgent needs of the CHC Shamator.
