Zunheboto district administration has imposed prohibitory order under Section 144 CrPC with effect from 12 midnight of Sunday in entire Zunheboto town till further notice.
In an order issued by DC Zunheboto RB Mali, has restricted assembly of five or more persons around DC office complex area and 100 meters in its vicinity till further orders.
District administration, security personnel, magistrates on duty, medical and emergency, media, telecom services, movement of commercial vehicles (goods/passengers) and essential services have been exempted.
Prohibitory order was clamped as tension prevailed following June 8 sexual assault on a minor girl.
