FGN, DCC Mokokchung mourn

Naga Army, Federal Government of Nagaland has expressed profound sorrow at the demise of late ‘col.’ Vilecho son of Vipire of Kezoma village, Angami region of 2nd Brigade W/C on April 4 at Kohima.
A condolence message by ‘Lt. Gen.’ Tavecho Lala, C-in-C, Naga Army, FGN stated that late ‘col.’ Vilecho was one of the senior most chaplains of Naga Army.  It stated that late Vilecho joined Naga Army on April 12, 1956 and had rendered sacrificial service to the nation which would always be remembered.
Further, FGN has conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and also prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
DCC Mkg: DCC Mokokchung has condole the demise of late Imnaonen, son of late Repa from Akhoya village of Mokokchung District who passed away in Dimapur on April 4.
In a condolence message, DCC, Mokokchung  late Repa was not only a fatherly figure for the Congress party but also  an inspiration to all the party workers. DCC stated that prior to joining active politics he had served the NNC for 10 years as a member and he began his political career as a central executive member of NNO. It said when NNO merged with the Congress, he became the first president of the District Congress Committee of Mokokchung in 1976 and held this post till 1977. Till his death he was holding the post of treasurer of Mokokchung town A/C Congress Committee, DCC added.
Further, DCC Mokokchung has conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and also prayed to God to comfort them and give eternal peace to the departed soul.
